INTERMEDIATE AGILITY:
The goal of the Intermediate Agility class is to continue the progression of skills learned in Beginner Agility to perform short sequences between the dog/handler team on American Kennel Club (AKC) agility equipment, with special emphasis placed on dog safety. Flatwork and intermediate coursework will be covered in this class. Focus will be on rewarding the proper performance of all obstacles. Prerequisites for enrollment in Intermediate Agility class are applicable to the dog seeking enrollment in the class: The dog and handler must have: 1. Successfully completed TCKC’s Beginner Agility Class; OR The dog and handler must be: 2. Evaluated by the Agility Coordinator and/or Director of Training to determine if the participant and dog can adequately perform those skills taught in TCKC’s Beginner agility class.
