ADVANCED AGILITY:
The goal of the Advanced Agility class is to continue the progression of skills learned in Intermediate Agility to perform short sequences between the dog/handler team on American Kennel Club (AKC) agility equipment, with special emphasis placed on dog safety. Flatwork and advanced coursework will be covered in this class. Focus will be on rewarding the proper performance of all obstacles and execution of advanced handling skills. Prerequisites for enrollment in Advanced Agility class are applicable to the dog seeking enrollment in the class: The dog and handler must have: 1. Successfully completed TCKC’s Intermediate Agility Class; OR The dog and handler must be: 2. Evaluated by the Agility Coordinator and/or Director of Training to determine if the participant and dog can adequately perform those skills taught in TCKC’s Intermediate agility class.
